UN-Habitat and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) partnership supported vulnerable communities in Nuwara Eliya and Badulla districts through the project “Strengthening Socioeconomic Resilience of Communities Affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic in the Central and Uva Provinces of Sri Lanka”.

This video highlights the project’s key achievements and contributions towards the agriculture sector. These include the establishment of polytunnels and rain shelters for high-value crops for farmers, Udawela Saruketha value added processing centre, and home gardening support to households to improve their food security.
