UN-Habitat in partnership with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) supported vulnerable communities in Nuwara Eliya and Badulla districts through the project “Strengthening Socioeconomic Resilience of Communities Affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic in the Central and Uva Provinces of Sri Lanka”.

This video highlights the project’s key achievements and contributions towards the healthcare sector. These include upgraded field maternal and child health care centres with WASH facilities and improved sewerage and healthcare waste management facilities in hospitals.
