At the request of the Government of Sri Lanka UN-Habitat assisted in the preparation of the Urban Housing Policy and Programme titled “People’s Housing Movement”. Lalith Lankatilleke, Senior Policy Advisor compiled the ideas from communities, officials and the private sector financing organizations to formulate the Policy and Programme.”
